Our Approach

Precision Fitting. Intelligent Design. Long Term Partnership.

At Orione, saddle fitting is never a one-size-fits-all solution—it’s a comprehensive, data-driven, and collaborative process shaped around the evolving needs of both horse and rider. Our approach is rooted in the belief that a saddle should be responsive, not just to anatomy, but to movement, discipline, and daily realities in training or competition.

We begin by evaluating the horse in motion—not just how they stand, but how they bend, lift, stretch, and compensate. Through both static and dynamic assessment, we identify key factors such as back symmetry, scapular rotation, and changes in muscle condition, all of which inform our tree and panel configurations.

Next, we work closely with the rider to analyze posture, pelvic alignment, and weight distribution in motion. Your saddle must allow freedom—not just for the horse, but for your seat and aids to function naturally and efficiently.

From here, we customize:

Tree width and shape to support spinal clearance and shoulder articulation

Panel build-up or cut-back options for anatomical accommodation

Seat and flap geometry for rider-specific balance

Girth and billet configuration for stable distribution and horse-specific anatomy

But our service doesn’t end at delivery. As the horse develops or changes—whether through conditioning, age, or workload—we provide ongoing fitting reviews, adjustments, and education to ensure the saddle continues to serve the partnership.

Our goal is not to deliver a product, but to shape a tool that evolves with you—and to offer clarity, support, and honest expertise throughout that journey.

A well-fitted saddle doesn’t just avoid problems—it unlocks potential.
